Marked Cards
You can buy cheap marked cards with some minor alterations, such as a missing part of a pattern, an edge shaved so slightly, but enough to let a person see the card and know what is.
Cards such as these are usually paper cards,but can be acquired as novelty decks in plastic
However, when stakes get higher, a different type of marked card enters the picture. We are talking about games where many hundreds and thousands are won and lost.
Games with buy-ins of $100-$1,000 as a norm. Games with buy-in higher than these have marked cards that cost $1,000s to buy. Most need more equipment, such as contact lenses or camera's with certain type's of filters. Most of these marked cards are invisible to the naked eye. However, Blackline and Whiteflash are not.
